Gallery Oldham has a wide range of collections and exhibitions to inspire your creative side!

The gallery is dedicated to providing hands-on opportunities to develop the skills and talents of young people aged 11 – 25. If you’re an individual or group interested in what we do then get in touch!

We can work with you to develop and deliver interesting and engaging projects to suit your needs and talents. Gallery Oldham is an Arts Award Centre and Supporter, trained to deliver all levels of Arts Award to individuals and groups.

If you or your group of young people would like to do your Arts Award or need help completing your Arts Award then please get in touch, we can offer practical workshops, tours of the gallery, career sessions, object handling sessions and bespoke workshops.

Gallery Oldham Collective

If you’re aged 16 – 25 and looking for opportunities to make new friends, create new work, develop your leadership skills and complete your Gold Arts Award then we want to hear from you.

Creative Spaces
Tuesdays 14 May, 18 June, 9 July, 17 September and 22 October 1 – 2.30pm

Join our creative monthly sessions specially designed for home educated young people or those in alternative education. These hands-on workshops are ideal for any young person interested in arts and craft. Develop your skills as a young artist and achieve a Discover Arts Award.

£3.50 per person, per session, includes all materials and Discover Arts Award moderation and certification.

Bronze Summer School – Take Me to the Moon 
Thursdays 1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd August, 12 – 3pm each day.

A five week summer school, in partnership with Oldham Library, that’s perfect for 11 – 16 year olds interested in designing, creating and making. Each young person will achieve their Bronze Arts Award and make a variety of pieces to take home.

£35 – includes Bronze Arts Award, certification, moderation and all four sessions and materials.

Wednesday 7th, Friday 9th, Wednesday 14th, Friday 16th and Saturday 16th August, 10.30 – 3pm

Be inspired by the galleries collections and exhibitions and take part in our specialist arts summer school. Led by art tutor and artist Mark Rigby create new work, explore different techniques and develop an artists portfolio full of unique work.

£15 – includes all sessions, light refreshments and a visit to TATE Liverpool. Booking essential via Eventbrite.
