News: Mar 2018
Following the disruption caused by a flood earlier in March we are pleased to announce that Gallery Oldham will fully reopen for business from Easter Saturday (31 March). However please note that our lifts have not yet been repaired.
It’s been all hands to the pump at Gallery Oldham over the last two weeks! And we are now preparing to reopen after disruption caused by a flood in the building. The exhibitions will remain closed until 24 March although we will restart some activities in the run up to this date.
Unfortunately Gallery Oldham will remain closed over the next few days. The Naked Bean cafe is also closed. We hope to reopen on Saturday 24 March and apologise for any inconvenience caused.
We are open as usual today, Friday 2nd March, although will be closing at 3pm to allow our staff to get home safely. If you’re travelling to visit us today stay warm and safe! This painting from our collections shows a snowy scene in Oldham in 1912.
