What information do House of Images collect? How do they use it?

When you order prints, House of Images need to know your name, address, delivery address and how you wish to pay.

If you choose to pay by credit or debit card, they will need to ask you for the number and the card's expiry date to allow our order to be processed.

They will also ask you for your telephone number. This enables them to contact you quickly if there is a problem with your order. For some international deliveries, they may need to give this number to their couriers.

How do House of Images protect customer information?

When you choose to pay for orders by a credit or debit card you will be transferred to a secure server. The secure server software (SSL) encrypts all information you input before it is sent to House of Images. Furthermore, as required by the UK Data Protection Act, House of Images follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of information you have given them to prevent unauthorised access. Their security procedures mean that they may request proof of identity before they are able to disclose sensitive information to you.

House of Images does not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others. They may provide aggregate statistics about customers, sales, traffic patterns and related site information to reputable third party vendors, but these statistics will include no personally identifying information.

House of Images use other companies and individuals to perform functions on their behalf. Examples include fulfilling orders, delivering packages, sending postal mail, analysing data, providing marketing assistance, processing card payments and providing customer services.
