Gallery Oldham is a unique and bold new landmark building that opened in February 2002. The £9m gallery forms the first phase of a new Cultural Quarter for Oldham. It was designed by architects Pringle Richards Sharratt and has received an award from the Royal Institute of British Architects.

Refreshments

The nearest café is in Sainsburys, next to Gallery Oldham. The Townhouse Restaurant on Greaves Street is open for lunch Tuesday – Saturday.

There is a refreshment area in Oldham Library and Lifelong Learning Centre, which is joined onto Gallery Oldham. You are welcome to bring food with you to eat there and there are vending machines with snacks and drinks.
