Gallery Oldham takes an innovative and unique approach to exhibition programming. The new gallery oldham building has brought about an integration of the once separate museum and gallery services, and programming incorporates Oldham's extensive art, social and natural history collections alongside touring work, newly commissioned and contemporary art, international art and work produced with local communities.

Gallery Oldham’s collection includes sculptures by some of the best known sculptors working in Britain in the 20th century.

This exhibition includes work by Andy Goldsworthy, Bernard McWilliam, Bernard Meadows and Arthur Dooley, Jacob Epstein’s bust of Churchill, Laura Ford’s Elephant Boy and works by Elisabeth Frink including a bust of William Walton.
