The Roughyeds - The Story 1876 - 2004
21 August - 18 September 2004

This exhibition celebrates the history of Oldham’s rugby team, nicknamed the Roughyeds, and includes memorabilia from throughout the team’s history.
The fascinating and unique collection on show was created by the Oldham Rugby League Heritage Trust, and is recognised as one of the best club rugby collections of important memorabilia in the world.
The trust was formed in 1995 by a group of dedicated supporters who wanted to celebrate and preserve the history of the Roughyeds. The collection was put together through purchases made by the trust and the generosity of the many people who have donated or lent material.
