Gallery Oldham takes an innovative and unique approach to exhibition programming. The new gallery oldham building has brought about an integration of the once separate museum and gallery services, and programming incorporates Oldham's extensive art, social and natural history collections alongside touring work, newly commissioned and contemporary art, international art and work produced with local communities.

A stunning exhibition of photography capturing the colourful sights that accompanied the May Bank Holiday weekend celebrations to mark the re-opening of Oldham's Alexandra Park, at Gallery Oldham from Friday 12th to Thursday 30th November.

Parklife: A Party In The Park saw over 25,000 people come together to enjoy three sunshine-saturated days of free music, street theatre and surprises with artists from across the world.

Now celebrated local snappers Matt Squire and Jan Gamble have produced a perfect pictorial record of the Springtime celebrations.
