Halima Cassell: Sculptural Ceramics

Halima Cassell's work is influenced by decorative carved Islamic architecture and bold, repetitive Afican patterns.
To create her striking and original sculptures, Halima works with thick clay on a large scale, carved deep, complex geometric patterns.
Halima was born in Pakistan and brought up in Manchester. She has exhibited her work widely throughout Britain and internationally.
