NEI Nuclear Power Station, Gateshead,1984 by Chris Wainwright

Fleeting Arcadias compares and contrasts nearly thirty years of British landscape photography, addressing issues such as ecological concerns and commercial exploitation.

The photographs in the exhibition were selected from the Arts Council Collection by writer and artist John Stathos. They include work by Fay Godwin, John Blakemore, Ray Moore, Martin Parr, Roger Palmer, Susan Tragmar and Chris Wainwright, and several new works that have been purchased by the Arts Council Collection especially for the exhibition.

Fleeting Arcadias is a National Touring Exhibition organised by the Hayward Gallery for Arts Council England.
