An artwork in the art@16 exhibition

art@16 showcases the imagination, creativity and talent of young artists studying in Oldham.  

The wide variety of work on display has been created by 15 and 16 year old art students across the borough and is arranged into eight different themes in the exhibition - Creatures, Identity, Imaginative, Responses, Natural Form, Locations, 3D and Culture.  

A selection of students’ sketchbooks are also displayed, showing how ideas develop and grow.

You can vote for your favourite artwork in the People’s Prize competition and the winning pupil will receive a prize kindly donated by the Secondary Art Network.
