Free lunchtime talks

Lunchtime talks take place on the second Wednesday of each month and are a great way to find out more about exhibitions. Talks last around 20 minutes.

Wednesday 11 November, 1pm: Women of Oldham with curator Sean Baggaley.

Wednesday 9 December, 1pm: Oldham Treasures with curator Stephen Whittle.

Wednesday 13 January, 1pm: Rare, Endangered and Beautiful with curator Alan Price.

Wednesday 10 February, 1pm: Great British Watercolours with Susan Bourne, curator at Towneley Hall, Burnley.

Wednesday 10 March, 1pm: Panoramica with artist Gayle Chong Kwan.

Wednesday 14 April, 1pm: Fantastic Mr Ferranti with curator Sean Baggaley

Take a trip behind the scenes for a closer look at the Gallery collections in store.

Tuesday 13 October, 2pm: Women of Oldham - a chance to see more of the embroidery and costumes held in our collections.

Tuesday 2 February, 2pm: Great British Watercolours: A look at some of the outstanding watercolours from the Gallery’s permanent collection.

Tuesday 23 March, 2pm: Rare, Endangered and Beautiful: A tour of Oldham’s extensive and fascinating natural history collection.
